MBC Lite is available wherever ADSL is available, and can be delivered on your existing phone-line or as a data-only service. MBC Lite is available to most businesses around New Zealand.
Cost Effective
MBC Lite is targeted at businesses who require WAN services or business support, but do not require the Service Level Agreements (SLA) or performance available with fibre.
Dedicated Performance
Where available, MBC Lite can be provided with dedicated bandwidth portion for certain services such as VOIP or realtime applications such as Citrix.
Shared Bandwidth
With multiple sites and our MBC WAN service, internet bandwidth can be shared between multiple sites, saving you from purchasing data for each individual site that needs connectivity.
TECH SPECS
MBC Lite is an entry-level data connectivity service utilising ADSL and VDSL residential-grade technologies. MBC Lite is delivered over ADSL, ADSL2+, Enhanced ADSL2+ (EUBA) or VDSL2. As such all bandwidth (except our enhanced option’s real-time traffic channel) is best efforts and there is no included uptime guarantee or restoration SLA associated with this service.
Enhanced Option
With our Enhanced service, we can offer you a dedicated channel up to 180kbps, providing certainty of bandwidth availability for information to travel across the connection making services such as VoIP and Citrix more reliable.
Managed Routers
For additional peace-of-mind we can lease and manage a router on the end of your connection with full hardware maintenance and support agreements. The router can be fully configured by our network engineers.
MBC WAN
MBC Lite connections can be utilized with out MBC WAN service providing an MPLS private WAN, creating a cost affective and simple WAN service for businesses.
