The two key features of Maxnet’s Albany Data Centre is its ability to host extremely high density equipment and its exceptional uptime capability of 99.99%. Our HA racks are “blade ready” and ideally suited for hosting high density servers and virtualised environments.
Infrastructure
The Albany Data Centre has 2N power and cooling with truly diverse power feeds from two sub stations. Mains power supplies are backed by on-site diesel generators with five days of fuel on-site. Cooling is supplied by pods of independent chillers for redundancy.
Security
Our Albany Data Centre is constructed with concrete floors, walls and ceiling. Access is controlled with biometric 2 factor authentication at all entrances. The facility is monitored with CCTV, including motion tracking cameras, and 24/7 on-site staff.
Efficiency
All our power is purchased from carbon neutral providers. Extra efficiencies are then gained through our water-based cooling, APC’s patented InRow® cooling, hot aisle containment technologies, state of the art UPS and power distribution.
Connectivity
As an independent ISP and data centre we have fully diverse fibre and internet connectivity from all the major providers allowing us to offer our customers protected private WAN or internet solutions.
