Dialup 2000 Settings
Use the steps below to setup your computer to dial Maxnet on Windows 2000
Step 1
Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Network and Dial-up Connections
Step 2
Double Click Make new Connection
Step 3
- Select Dial-up to the Internet
- Click Next
Step 4
- Select I connect through a phone line and a modem
- Click Next
Step 5
- Area code: Leave blank
- Telephone number: 0867 00006
- Country/Region: New Zealand (64)
- Untick Use area code and dialing rules
Step 6
- Type the User Name as your username ie. bobpond@maxnet NOTE: Netguardian users replace @maxnet with @ng
- Click Next
Step 7
- Type the Connection Name as Maxnet
- Click Next

- If you would like to setup an E-mail Account and do not already have one setup, select Yes and click here for more instructions
- If you already have e-mail setup, select No
- Click Next

Click Finish
