Dialup XP Settings

Step 1

  • Click Start
  • Select All Programs

  • Select Accessories -> Communications
  • Click New Connection Wizard

Step 2
Click Next

Select Connect to the Internet
Click Next

Select Setup my connection manually
Click Next

Select Connect using a dial-up modem
Click Next

Type Maxnet as the ISP Name
Click Next

Type the Phone number as 0867 00006
Click Next

Type the User name as your Maxnet username ie. bobpond
Type your Password in and Confirm it
Leave all 3 options at the bottom of this screen ticked
Click Next

Leave a tick in Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop
You have now completed the setup. Click Finish
