Outlook 2000 Settings
How to manually configure your Outlook 2000 to send and receive email.
Step 1
Open Outlook 2000 and click on the word Tools -> Accounts
Step 2
Click Add -> Mail
Step 3
Enter your name or your company name in the first screen
Click Next
Step 4
Type in your email address
Click Next
Step 5
For the type of mail server choose: POP3
On the Incoming Mail Server line type: pop3.maxnet.co.nz
On the Outgoing Mail Server line type: smtp.maxnet.co.nz
Click Next
Step 6
On the Account Name line, type your Username
Type in your password
Do NOT tick Log on Using Secure Password Authentication
Click Next
Step 7
Click Finish
