What is Maxnet's torrenting policy

Since our inception, Maxnet's vision for their internet service has always been about quality. Quality that comes in three forms namely speed, uptime and friendly and useful help.
In 2012 we are spending a lot of time and effort renewing our broadband platform and redefining what space we want to play in, and this is what we've come up with.
Maxnet provides high end broadband for those who want to have consistently fast internet that can stream TV shows coming from anywhere in the world. Our vision is to ensure that great content is available to our users and that it is a joy to watch.
While we agree that using the torrent protocol is legitimate in many situations, we also recognise that for us to deliver a high end service to our niche market, we will have to sacrifice our users ability to download massive amounts of data at very high speeds.
So to that end, during the hours of 7am to 8pm each day, torrent traffic will shaped heavily. Outside of these hours torrents may download faster.
We say all of this to make the message clear; if you want a great service where your internet will be fast, reliable and robust, Maxnet is a great choice. If you want an ISP that lets you download the latest season of Dexter at line speed and make everything slow, there are probably other ISPs you should talk to. Other ISPs can offer that.
Overall, we believe the measure of a great company is one that knows what they do well, and what they don't. This is us just being honest.
